Benefits of Supplied-Air Painting Hoods

THE BENEFITS:

1. Beard Friendly – With a respiratory hood, painters with facial hair need not worry about maintaining a NIOSH approved seal protecting them from harmful fumes.  Whereas some full and half mask respirators need facial hair removed to become compliant, a supplied-air hood allows for the inner wildman to express his (or her) beard fully!

2.  Peel Off Lenses – These hoods will last you a good long time with the ability to keep your visual field clear and safe. Peel off lenses remove any splatter or build up that inhibits your vision.

3.  Flexible Air Delivery Tube – You won’t feel constrained or restricted with the flexible delivery tube that attaches to your waste and keep your air supply both secure and out of your way.

4.  Cool or Heated Air – Keep your painters comfortable by utilising an easy-to-incorporate Cooling/Heating tube.

5.  Optional Hard Hat Frame – Protects spray painters in critical construction and work zone.

6.  Protective Hearing Options – Protects your painters from excessive noise and hearing loss.  These fit comfortable within the hood.

7.  Communication Systems – Allow Painters and Supervisors to communicate easily by incorporating a communication system within the protective hood.  It’s no longer necessary to stop work and remove the hood to clearly and effectively converse.

8.  Optional Internal Helmet Light – Give light and clarity to your painter by incorporating an internal light that doesn’t get covered in paint and allows them to clearly see the work surface.

REQUIRED SET-UP:

1. Incoming Air from site Compressor – Utilise your current compressor to feed the supply air.

2. Breathing Air Filter

3. Carbon Monoxide Alarm

4. T-Link Respirator Hoods

5. Breathing Air Hose – NIOSH requires the utilised breathing air hose be from the same manufacturer as the respirator hood/or helmet.
