BlastOne’s offering of pinhole holiday detection instruments are reliable tools in ensuring the quality of the applied coating. The instruments conform to all major industry standards, including NACE, ISO, ASTM, and ACA, for pinhole/holiday detection.
Protective coatings are used to prevent corrosion on structural steel surfaces, but areas of thin or compromised coatings may not be immediately visible to the naked eye. These defects in the applied coating, known as pinholes or holidays, can adversely affect the longevity of the protective coating.

This group of products are stand-alone voltage testers for the High Voltage Holiday Detectors. Although the PosiTest® HHD units have built-in voltmeters with a traceable calibration certificate, other brands may not, and some standards call for standalone voltmeter verification.
