Description
These high-quality nozzles install onto the rotating head of the rotor blast internal pipe blasting tool or the spin blaster unit – for blasting the insides of pipes and tubes.
The spin blaster is an innovative tool and can be mounted on a pipe centering carriage for effectively sandblasting and grip blasting the insides of pipes ranging from 8 inch diameter to 36 inch diameter.
It’s possible to get up to white metal blast class III and the unit is commonly used in the petrochemical industry to blast clean the insides of pipelines prior to lining the pipes with protective coatings. It’s also used for sandblasting the internals of water pipelines prior to protective coatings and for the refurbishment of water supply pipelines.
The RotorBlast and spin blaster units are usually pushed through the pipe prior to the blasting operation being activated – attached to a heavy duty blasting Lance or blast hose – and drawn back through the pipe under operation at a consistent speed – a blast hose winch can be used for this purpose
The pipe can be connected to a dust collector to capture dust and abrasive blasting particles, blasting debris and sandblasting fines – such as the BlastOne blue Wizard fans.
