Description
Testex Tape provides inspectors a simple method for obtaining an impression of a surface. Testex Tape consists of a layer of crushable plastic microfoam coated onto a polyester film of highly uniform thickness.
- Provides a higher quality Surface Data File (.SDF) than conventional replica tape
- Used testex tapes can be retained on file with other quality inspection records for reference
- Technique training tool available test block with a known reference profile surface
- Used in accordance with ISO8503-5, AS3894-5 and AS1627-4 Standards
When compressed against a roughened material, the Testex Tape accurately replicates details of its surface roughness, and the Optical Grade Replica Tape is designed specifically for use with the RTR-P 3D to give a better .SDF file
