The Tera Valve Retrofit kit includes all the components needed to convert a pressure release blasting system into a pressure hold blasting system.
The Schmidt Tera Valve is one of the greatest developments in the abrasive blasting industry, effectively replacing the Thompson 2 Valve for most applications.
If you are currently using a pressure release blast pot and need to upgrade it to a pressure hold, that means convert it to a blast machine that holds the pressure and air in the pot when you release you deadman handle, then this retro-fit kit is the one for you.
A Pressure release blasting system will take about 10 seconds to stop and restart when the deadman is released and re-engaged, where a pressure hold system has a 2 second response time for the sand blasting operator. So if you are someone doing a lot of start/stop sandblasting work, upgrading to the new Tera Valve is a must for you.
Typically used to convert existing blast pot to a pressure hold blasting system, avoiding loud blowdowns, abrasive waste, and delayed startup.
