All Equipment Safety
Hoses must be restrained using Whip Checks and Coupling Lock Pins to ensure that if for some reason the Couplings become loosened from the Hose, or between Couplings, they do not go flailing around openings and injuring blasters or painters or people standing by. A Whip Check will restrain the Hose to ensure it does not flail around. A Lock Pin is always in place to ensure that a Hose does not become disconnected off a machine or from one another while you're moving them around, or while in use.
