Moisture removal is essential for high performance abrasive blasting. Primary air drying is best accomplished by using a drop-out tank in combination with an aftercooler and often, a deliquescent tablet system.
When the primary air dryer is at a distance from the blast pot, best practice dictates that a secondary drop-out tank would be placed in-line immediately before the blast pot.
Introducing the Portable Moisture Separator, an essential tool for clean, dry air in production blasting. With clean, dry air, you can easily achieve up to 15% faster blasting. Experience no choking of your blast machine, no constant adjustment of your abrasive metering valve, and no never-ending clearing of damp abrasive from your blast machine.
