The SmartSPARKTM Short Proof Deadman Control System is enhancing blaster safety in all blast operations.

Designed to address inadvertent activations caused by electrical shorts in deadman control lines, the SmartSPARK Deadman System keeps your blasters safe. The SmartSPARK Deadman and Controls has a closed loop system, that will detect an electrical short in the deadman line and shut off the blast pot instantly.

SmartSPARK Short Proof Deadman Control System

The SmartSPARKTM prevents accidental activation of electric deadman systems caused by short-circuits in the control cable.  This safety-enhancing option is especially beneficial when blasting in a blastroom where the control cable is susceptible to being shorted out on the floor grating.

This system is packaged into a small, manageable size that weighs less than 1.5 lbs (single outlet version). It is specifically designed for easy retrofitting onto existing blast systems, facilitating installation within minutes.

The SmartSPARK is simple to install and includes the control module and junction box needed to convert existing electric control systems*. Both single-outlet and 4-outlet bulk pot conversions are available.

*Note:  Deadman handles are unique to the SmartSPARK. Conversion kits do not include deadman handles, which are available separately on this page.
