Our experience indicates that oil frequently gets through the airline system which not only makes it way to the CO monitor, possibly corrupting the sensors and causing dangerous malfunctions - but the oil can also make its way into the respirators and lungs of the workers. Placing a Radex micro mist filter between the air input regulator and the air filter casing traps any dispersed oil and keeps it form entering your air filter, your CO monitor, and the lungs of the operators.
