The Testex tape process of measuring surface profile has been used for over 50 years. It is a simple, reliable, and repeatable way of determining surface profile parameters. DeFelsko acquired the Testex tape line and incorporated it into their range of instruments, for increased compatibility and greater convenience for inspectors. DeFelsko is now offering updated packaging in 50-piece packs while continuing to offer the legacy roll packaging. NOTE - the profile ranges are not entirely the same between them - their respective ranges are shown under the Product Description tab. Tape options include the following:
- Conventional Testex Press-O-Film Tape grades.
- Use with analog spring or digital micrometers or with the PosiTector RTR H probe.
- Optical Grade Testex Press-O-Film Tape Grades
- Use with PosiTector RTR 3D probe. Provides surface data files (.sdf) that allow both 2D and 3D measurements.

DeFelsko has done it again! Now with an enhanced second version, their Dew Point Meter Logger instruments are award winners for remote monitoring of environmental conditions.
Both PosiTector DPML models offer the ability to continuously monitor climatic conditions remotely. Both offer wireless connectivity to the PosiTector app. Data from both is uploadable to PosiSoft for generating reports. And now, the new DPML+ offers all the features of the original DPML, with 2 key upgrades, as follows:

Thickness standards are used to verify the accuracy and operation of coating thickness gauges. As a component of ISO 9000 or in-house quality control procedures, they are a practical alternative to sending instruments to DeFelsko for calibration. DeFelsko offers various solutions for this process and this group of products is their premium version comprised of 4 Certified Coated Metal Plates (one being a zero plate). Select the Standard set that most closely matches the measuring range of your probe. See selection chart under the Description tab.

Each DeFelsko instrument family is factory calibrated and is designed to be ready-to-use upon arrival. Best practice and specifications determine when instruments should have their calibrations rechecked. For the PosiTector UTG probes, DeFelsko offers five different variations of stainless steel Step Blocks that are factory certified for checking their calibration, as follows:
- B1. Standard range Imperial. Five steps (100, 200, 300, 400, and 500 mils).
- B1M. Standard range Metric. Five Steps (2.5, 5, 7.5, 10, and 12.5 mm).
- B2. High range Imperial. Eight steps (1", 1.5", 2", 2.5", 3", 3.5", 4", and 4.5").
- B2M. High range Metric. Eight steps (25, 37.5, 50, 62.5, 75, 87.5, 100, and 112.5 mm).
- P. (Use with PosiTector UTG P probe.) Imperial labeled at 40, 60, 80, and 100 mils. (Metric equivalent 1, 1.5, 2, and 2.5 mm)

BlastOne offers all accessories and replacement parts for DeFelsko testing instruments. The PosiTector CMM IS concrete moisture meter platform is expandable, and larger concrete areas can be tested simultaneously in accord with ASTM F2170 standards by increasing the number of in-situ probes. CMM IS Expansion Packs (additional probes) are available singly or in packs of 4 or 16 and each probe includes the following accessories:

The Bresle method of testing surfaces for salt contamination is recognized by ISO and ASTM standards. The DeFelsko SST test probe is an easy and accurate way to conduct these tests. Test patches are required to perform them and DeFelsko has multiple options, as follows:
- PosiPatch™. This innovative product utilizes a reusable patch, held by a magnetic ring against the surface. Available in 2 configurations:
- Rigid ring. Preferred for flat surfaces or round surfaces with greater than 40 inch diameter.
- Flexible ring. Preferred for round surfaces between 4 and 40 inch OD, or a minimum of 4.5 inches ID.
- Saves time and money vs. disposable patches.
- Utilizes a plastic needle - no sharp hypodermic needles required!
- Latex Disposable. The conventional Latex Adhesive Bresle Method Patch has a sample test volume range of up to 15 ml (the only DeFelsko version with this range) for applications where the spec requires this.
- Latex-Free Disposable. Similar to latex disposables but lower in cost, the DeFelsko Adhesive Bresle Method Patch is suitable when the 15 ml sample size of the latex version is not required.

Very easy to use - just affix the replica tape to the holder, and ensure that the compressible foam is located over the hole in the holder.
