Required PPE for the Operator
- NIOSH-approved Type CE supplied-air blasting helmet with positive pressure.
- Heavy-duty blast suit or thick canvas/leather coveralls, plus leather gauntlet gloves.
- Steel-toe boots (metatarsal guards preferred).
- Double hearing protection: earplugs + earmuffs.
- Avoid silica sand; supplied-air mandatory if exposure possible.
