What Size Bull Air Hose Should You Use?

THINK BIG WHEN CHOOSING A BULL HOSE FOR YOUR UPCOMING BLASTING PROJECT

If you have an air hose that is too small connected to your blast pot connector, friction can be lost in the process. If you are currently using a 1 inch jackhammer hose, we highly recommend switching to a 2 inch bull hose. Switching to an unrestricted bull hose has resulted in many of our customers seeing a 30-45% increase in efficiency.

Keep in mind that losing 1 psi is equivalent to a 1.5% loss of production. Meaning, a loss of 10 psi decreases your efficiency by 15 percent.
