Galvanized malleable iron reducing bushings, or hex bushings, step down threaded pipe connections from a larger size to a smaller one. Each fitting is NPT threaded, with the first dimension showing the male size and the second showing the female. These bushings are durable, corrosion-resistant, and easy to install with a wrench thanks to the hex design. They are commonly used in air, water, gas, and low-pressure piping systems. Available in many size combinations, they give contractors a quick solution for pipe reductions. Stainless steel and specialty materials can be supplied on request.
