OPEN FACE AND ENCLOSED

With a fixed spray booth, you can now operate your spray painting process in a controlled environment without pumping fumes and overspray all over your workshop. The airflow through the work area has been specifically designed to contain and exhaust all solvent fumes, whilst capturing the overspray in a simple yet effective low-maintenance filter system. Constructed from durable materials they are designed to remain modular and relocatable.

FAQ’s

  • What sizes do fixed spray booths come in?

    • Spray booths are made from modular systems in both height, width & depth, so practically any size is available in 1.0m increments.

  • Do spray booths have lighting?

    • Surface-mounted lights are available and can be fitted anywhere – ceiling, cornice, or walls.

  • How do you protect the walls from overspray?

    • A strippable coating is available for any booth, whereby it is applied first when the booth is new. When the walls become covered with overspray you simply peel off and re-apply.

  • Do they comply to Australian Standards – AS4114?

    • They comply in every respect, including design, materials, and manufacture. However, the installation and maintenance also need to be carried out in accordance with AS4114, and this is the responsibility of the owner/operator.

  • Are spray booths difficult to assemble?

    The spray booth is a pre-engineered modular system that arrives at the site as a kit with a comprehensive assembly and operator’s manual. Standard trade skills are required to assemble the booth, with special skills needed for:

    • Wiring up the electrical components and connecting them to 3-phase power.
    • Weather-proofing any building penetrations.
    • Working at heights.

  • Do they come with a single-phase motor?

    • Due to the required wiring compliance of the motor single-phase fans are NOT available.

  • If I get an open front booth can I fit intake filter doors later?

    • Certainly. The door system is so designed that they are a simple ‘add-on’ to the booth.
    • This applies to both the MASTERFLO (fixed) and MASTREFLEX (retractable) systems.

  • Quiet Operation

    • All fans, both inlet, and exhaust, above 610mm diameter, operate at 960rpm giving a quieter operation and a more comfortable working environment.

  • Unrestricted Airflow Through Filter

    • The design incorporates the unique pleated card filter wall which captures airborne particles using the inertia separation principle.
    • Overspray is retained outside the airstream in holding pockets giving it 3 to 5 times the life of fiberglass filters. This ensures an even airflow is maintained across the filter wall throughout the life of the filter.

  • Reduced Maintenance

    • The filter system is made of two pleated cardboard walls glued together by their edges.
    • This enables the filter to fold together down to 1/10 of its size making disposal simple and easy.
    • Holds captured overspray using the unique Inertia Separation Principle the majority of airborne particles are retained outside the airstream in holding pockets between the card walls inside the filter itself. This keeps the airflow through the filter clear as well as captures the overspray particles for easy disposal.
