MBX® Tools are a convenient solution for surface preparation in auto body repair, metal fabrication, industrial maintenance, and more. With models available for any power type, these tools can remove rust, labels, adhesives, gaskets, paint, undercoating, sealers, and vinyl, while requiring very low setup and cleanup times. 

Available Monti-Power MBX models:

• MBX® Cordless.  Using the Cordless Alliance System (CAS) battery system, this unit offers full mobility with an 18V battery, dead man’s switch, and vibration-dampening handle. It comes with a 18v, 8.0ah battery and charger.  Additional 8.0ah Battery and Charging Options are optionally available.
• MBX® Electric Variomatic:  Powered by 120v and consuming 700w, this unit offers speed adjustability with the RPM dial located on the back end of the unit.  It is supplied as the tool -only (including both 11mm and 23mm hubs).
• MBX® Pneumatic Reverse:  For compressed air setups, this unit offers reversibility for convenience when resharpening belts.  It requires 18 CFM at 90 PSI using a standard 3/8" shop air line.  It also is supplied as the tool-only (including the hubs), and replacement 11mm and 23mm hubs are readily available.
• Axial / Die Grinder (not pictured on this page):  Also pneumatically powered, this unit mounts the belt at 90° for use in door jambs, rain channels, wheel housings, and other tight spaces.  It requires 14 CFM at 75PSI, using 3/8" shop air line.  This unit can be used with both MBX and Bristle Blaster belts and comes with a removable accelerator bar.  This unit can be found on our MontiPower Bristle Blaster page.
