DeFelsko® PosiTest® AT Pull-Off Adhesion Testers
The PosiTest® AT series – DeFelsko’s answer for testing coating adhesion on multiple substrates. Practical and capable, this product family offers a professional way to conform to recognized standards, including ASTM D4541 / D7234 and ISO 4624. Highlights are as follows:
- Multiple Versions:
- Economical Manual hydraulic pump, with new display and internal memory holding up to 200 pulls. Compatible with PosiSoft Desktop.
- Capable Automatic hydraulic pump, reduces user effort and risk of user influence on result. Internal memory for up to 100,000 pulls in 1000 batches. Compatible with PosiSoft Desktop, PosiSoft.net, and PosiTector app
- Versatile. Both Manual and Automatic versions can be configured for 1 of 4 applications. And optional conversion kits are available if switching from one application to another is needed. Application options are:
- 20mm, Higher bond strength coatings on metals
- 50mm, Lower bond strength coatings on concrete, wood, and plastic
- 50 x 50mm Tiles, Cementitious adhesives for tiles
- 50mm C1583, Concrete surfaces and overlays
- Complete. Each Adhesion Tester comes with everything needed for testing, including:

Designed for both field and laboratory use, the DeFelsko® PosiTest® AT Pull-Off Adhesion Testers are indispensable in verifying the adherence of coatings prior to service. The tester is capable of using dollies of various sizes, catering to a wide range of bond strengths and substrate conditions. Its self-aligning dolly mechanism ensures accurate measurements even on uneven surfaces. The tester is built to withstand harsh environmental conditions, reflected in its IP65-rated enclosure.
This tool’s ability to conform to global standards, including ASTM, ISO, and others, makes it a universally accepted device for adhesion testing. The PosiTest® AT is supplied with a comprehensive kit, including a certificate of calibration traceable to NIST, ensuring its accuracy.
