The Strain Relief Connector is the fitting that secures the power cord at the rear entry point of the Western Technology Model 3500 blast light. It is the part that keeps cord movement from transferring into the light body, which is what leads to broken conductors, intermittent power, and early cord failure. Replace it when the cord can move in the housing, the clamp is damaged, or you are rebuilding the rear cord entry during service.
