BlastMax Copper Slag for North East Region
Sku: P-BMCSNE
BlastMax Copper Slag, also known as iron silicate, is a durable and high-performance abrasive blasting media engineered for efficient removal of mill scale, rust, old coatings, and contaminants from steel and other durable surfaces. Used in both wet and dry blasting applications, it delivers consistent surface profiles ideal for coating adhesion in industrial surface preparation projects. This copper slag features an angular particle shape, allowing it to cut aggressively and produce a uniform anchor profile, while its hardness rating of 7.0–7.5 Mohs and density up to 146 lb/ft³ provide the mass and grit necessary for high-speed cleaning and coating removal. BlastMax Copper Slag is cost-effective for many applications due to its durability and efficiency.
