The GVX abrasive blasting respirator (formerly the Bullard GenVX) is Bullard’s latest blast helmet platform. It’s designed for day-to-day blasting work—lighter on your neck, stable on your head, and built so you can keep your visibility up without fighting the lens system. 

Bullard offers the GVX in four OEM helmet colors (yellow, navy, red, forest green). A new custom orange GVX helmet is also available through BlastOne including a High Viz version of the standard 28" nylon cape. Other than the color and the high-viz cape option, it’s the same Bullard GVX respirator and uses the same GVX lenses. 

General specifications:

• Continuous-flow supplied air respirator intended for abrasive blasting use
• Non-porous helmet shell for easier cleanup
• Secure fit: 6-point ratchet suspension plus adjustable cheek pads
• Comfort you can maintain: removable/washable comfort padding kit
• GVX lens platform: inner/outer lens system with add-ons like tear-offs, covers, and tinted options
• Visor grit control design to help reduce debris getting between lenses

Cape options

• Standard Nylon capes: 28" (standard) and extended 38" length for more coverage
• High-Viz cape:  New 28" nylon cape (exclusively from BlastOne)
• Hibernia Jacket:  Full length parka for maximum coverage and warmth in cool weather
• Cape build: double lining above the neck and a sewn-in knit neck cuff

Climate control options (choose based on your air source)

• F30 constant flow valve: straightforward airflow control for everyday blasting
• AC1000 cool tube: cooling for high-pressure compressed air setups
• HC2400 heat/cool tube: warming or cooling for high-pressure compressed air setups
• Frigitron 2000: cooling for ambient air pump (low-pressure) setups

Airline fitting types

• ¼" Quick-disconnect options: Industrial Interchange (aka Hansen) - standard unless otherwise specified.  Alternative fitting choices include Snap-Tite, Schrader, CEJN, and Bayonet
• ½" Ambient air pump configurations: available in Industrial Interchange type only

Helmet colors

• Bullard OEM colors: Yellow, Navy, Red, Forest Green
• Custom option: Orange GVX helmet (available through BlastOne)
