Available Air Cap Types & Applications

• General Industry: Produces a uniform spray pattern at low pressure, reducing air cap buildup and improving transfer efficiency. Available in Conventional, Compliant, and HVLP options. 
• Automotive: Designed for Class A finishes, ensuring flawless atomization when applying base coats, clear coats, and primers. (Some caps are used for both General Industry and Automotive)
• High Solids: Handles UV coatings, low VOC materials, and abrasives while maintaining high throughput and durability.
• Adhesive:  Optimized for waterborne and solvent borne adhesives and sealants, ensuring even and controlled application. 
• Trim: Provides a well-defined spray edge with minimal overspray, ideal for edges, trim, and dielectric applications. 
• Waterborne: Produces a uniform, wet film build for waterborne paint applications.

Interchangeability:

• AirCap assemblies are not interchangeable between the AirPro and the Stellair series.  The assemblies between the Stellair™ and Stellair ACE can be interchanged in an emergency, but the Stellair™ assemblies are aluminum while the ACE assemblies are composite.
• However, the air caps themselves will physically fit all three Graco guns (AirPro, Stellair™, and Stellair ACE) but there are some differences:
  • Part numbers with 7 numeric digits were specifically developed for the Stellair™
  • The Black Plastic cap versions were developed specifically for the Stellair ACE
