The T-Link Respirator is a robust and highly flexible solution for industrial painters, designed with safety in mind. The T-Link is one of the GVS / RPB family of loose-fitting respirators designed especially for coating applications.  These offer the following advantages over traditional close-fitting masks:

  • Safer.  Much more protection from respiratory hazards, with an Assigned Protection Factor of 1000+, due to its positive pressure design. (The typical N95 masks rating is only 10)
  • More User-Friendly.  Facial hair is OK – no need to be clean shaven.
  • Saves time and money.  The hassles and expense of annual fit-testing are eliminated.
  • More comfortable.  Several ventilation options available to keep operators productive during temperature extremes.

The RPB T-Link Paint Respirator is a painting hood designed for optimum comfort and visibility for painting contractors. The hood is designed to turn with the operator’s head, and its large visor enables excellent downward and peripheral vision while wearing the hoods, while the fixed lens frame prevents the lens from rubbing up against the operator’s nose.

APPLICATIONS

This respirator is typically used to protect and provide clean airflow to a painting contractor in an industrial coating or painting setting. It can also be fitting with cooling air systems to ensure maximum operator comfort while on the job.

SPECIFICATIONS

  • Securely attached hood to prevent it from blowing up off the operator’s head
  • 2 types of head protection: Bump Cap and Hard Hat
  • Full visor frame to prevent the lens from hitting operator’s nose
  • Soft breathable inner bib with draw cord
  • Long tuck-in collar for extra protection and upper body airflow
  • Simple breathing tube attachment via Swivel Inlet fittings
  • Helmet padding with ear protect and ratchet adjustment
  • If you need compliance to have a respirator with a ANSI Z87+ Safety Lens, we recommend using the Zlink from RPB

The T-Link was designed for industrial applications and offers the following features:
  • Robust construction with interior face-frame design (Improves comfort by keeping the lens off the operators face)
  • Large viewing window with maximum downward and peripheral vision
  • Soft, breathable inner-bib and extra tuck-in collar
  • Several Configurations / Options available as follows:
    • Choose your Air Supply type
      • Constant flow valve - use with breathing air line. Offers basic volume control without heating/cooling
      • C40 - use with breathing air line.  Premium variable temperature control - up to 52° cooling or 33° heating
      • HX5 PAPR - Single speed battery powered unit. Does not use breathing air line for maximum portability.  Does not heat or cool.
      • PX5 PAPR - Three speed battery powered unit. Does not use breathing air line for maximum portability.  Does not heat or cool.
      • NOTE - PAPR units are NOT currently rated for explosive environments.  Contact us for status of Intrinsically Safe units currently in development.
    • Choose your head protection
      • Bump Cap - light-weight, non-rated head protection
      • Hard Hat - Z89.1, Type 1, Class C Hard Hat protection
    • Choose your Tyvek type
      • Tychem 2000 hood for splash protection
