The Graco Inlet Ball Spring Load Kits (SKUs: GR245190 and GR245191 / MPNs 245190 and 245191) are built to keep Xtreme pumps moving without hesitation. When spraying UHB coatings (e.g., one that may have the consistency of peanut butter), standard spray setups will typically experience irregular spray patterns due to the time it takes for the ball to seat at the bottom of the pump. This spring-loaded ball kit helps overcome this issue and provides a more consistent spray pattern when spraying these heavy coatings. Painters use these kits to fix slow cycling, loss of prime and inconsistent inlet performance. The GR245190 version covers Xtreme 145cc 600 and 180cc 750 pumps. The GR245191 version covers the 220cc, 250cc and 290cc models. Both versions drop in easily during routine service, troubleshooting or full rebuild work. Install steps are simple, lubricate components, set the O ring on the cylinder pump and stack the shims as shown in the standard Graco service guide.
