GVS / RPB In-Helmet Communication Systems

SKU: P-NOVATALK-NON-IS

In-Helmet communication systems make communication between a blaster/operator and other team members much easier and safer. RPB respirators are modular, meaning they can be upfitted with this option at any time. Several options available as follows:

  1. Z4 Comms-Link™ Upgrade Kit, includes noise-cancelling microphone, PTT button, and 15-848 padding kit for the Z4.
  2. Z-Link / T-Link Comms-Link™ Upgrade Kit, includes noise cancelling microphone, PTT button, and 16-520-S padding kit to fit either the Z-Link or T-Link.
  3. Z-Link / T-Link / Z4 Headset Package, includes noise-cancelling microphone and PTT button.  This kit does not include padding, and assumes that it will be used with previously-installed padding.  (If you need padding with the kit, purchase one of the Upgrade versions above.  It can also be purchased separately – see Repair Parts list.)
  4. Nova 3 NovaTalk™ Upgrade Kit, including noise-cancelling microphone, PTT button, and padding for the Nova 3.
  5. Nova 2000 NovaTalk™ Upgrade Kit.  Including noise-cancelling microphone, PTT button, and padding for the 2000.
  6. NovaTalk™ R-Tex Headset with PTT, designed for high-noise applications, such as Pot Tender.
  7. NovaTalk™ R-Tex Headset without PTT, designed for high-noise applications, such as Pot Tender.

Note:  A separate Radio Connection Cable must be purchased to connect to your existing 2-way radio system. Note:  These systems are not rated Intrinsically Safe.  If Intrinsically Safe versions are required, contact us for availability and pricing.

Description

In-Helmet communication systems dramatically improve efficiency and safety.  When these are combined with an existing 2-way radio system, the days of a blaster having to bang on the inside wall of a tank to communicate with his pot-tender are over!
