The Western Tech Sure-Fire Electric Remote Control Handle (aka Redhead deadman or ball-and-chain deadman) is a compact, hands-free electrically-operated deadman switch. Usable in all applications from 12 to 120v, it's designed for safe operation of blast nozzles, fueling applications, and more.
Key Features:
- Compact 'hands-free' design
- Ball and chain type (except model 1003) - operator must use as per instruction manual
- 12 or 24 Volt are the most common applications
- 2-wire is standard or 3-position toggle switch for use with integrated remote abrasive cut-off switch

- Repairable or Sealed
- 2, 3, or 4 wire

The Auto Air Valve (aka Gatekeeper) is the recommended control valve for a pressure-hold blasting system. It is safer and superior to a pinch valve system. Further details as follows:
- Rugged, compact design
- Typically used in conjunction with the Thompson Valve
- Low pressure drop across valve – increases production
- Multiple sizes available.
- Retrofit systems are available to convert pinch valve / donut valve systems to safer and more efficient Auto Air valve systems - see options below.

The BAABS deadman assembly works on all sizes of blast hose. To facilitate the various hose diameters, a hose adapter set is required. Each adapter set includes 2 grippers (2 sets are used per BAABS) and is offered in the following sizes:
- M1, for HE1 nozzle holder (1" whip OR 3/4" 4-ply hose)
- M2, for HE2 nozzle holder (1-1/4" whip OR 1" 4-ply hose)
- M3, for HE3 nozzle holder (1-1/2" whip OR 1-1/4" 4-ply hose)
- M4, for HE4 nozzle holder (1-1/2" 4-ply hose)
