Klingspor is a major manufacturer of abrasive products for hand tools. Their SMT flap discs (aka mop discs) are engineered for intensive grinding tasks and are of industrial quality. The Titan series is their premium line and these 4-½" flap sanding discs offer significant advantages over other versions, including:- Longer life. The trimmable plastic backing plate allows usage of all of the abrasive.
- Cooler running. With the unique fan shape of the backing, run temperature is reduced, further extending disc life.
- Spin-on design. The 5/8"-11 arbor allows quick and easy installation without the need of tools.
- Abrasive options. Available with alumina zirconia, ceramic, or non-woven abrasive in either standard grain or coated with lubricant (cooler running, often used on stainless).
- Design types. Offered in either convex angled (for curved work) or flat configurations.
- Thicknesses. Choose from either standard or jumbo types.
